Being a single mom wasn’t part of Caitlin’s life plan but now she can’t imagine it any other way. Listen in as she talks with Joy and Sarah about how she continued a life of travel and adventure post baby, as well as the next level bond she shares with her daughter & the challenges that closeness can present.
About Our Guest:
Local artist and graphic designer, Caitlin Mello, has spent the past two years as Creative & Marketing Director for Nashville Soccer Club, yet always keeps time carved out for community art projects. She is currently working as one of six women artists on the CGR Mobile Mural Project through a Thrive Grant awarded to the group by The Metro Arts Commission. She is committed to collaborative, community-lead energy into all aspects of her professional and artistic life.
Caitlin is the single mother to Marley Rose, her 13-year-old scuba diving adventure buddy and kitchen dance party partner, and feels like she is a successful mother based largely on the fact that she has managed to pass down her love of red lipstick, perfect mangos and 90s hip hop. The two survived 10 days beach camping out of a van in Maui, and they still like each other.
